Somehow I seem to only be able to recap my weekends. The wedding is 7 weeks away and my weekdays seem to be filled with work and running errands.
By the way anyone have any suggestions for wedding favors? This is a tough one. I can't think of anything original.
Saturday was a shopping day. My mom, sister and I were looking for a mother of the bride dress. After searching for a while we finally came across a beautiful dress! My mom is going to look stunning. Then we raided the amazing Dillard's sale. BCBG dresses for 80% off!
We also celebrated my sisters boyfriend's birthday that night. We ended up taking a party bus which I haven't done in forever. Felt like I was in college again and it was great.
Crazy lights.
Sunday we were nursing our hangovers all morning. Now that we live in town we can continue our brunch tradition on Sunday's and it was the perfect hangover cure. It's never too early for a mimosa and the chicken and waffles hit the spot.
Then Sunday night we went to our neighbors and then to one of coworkers house. I was rooting for the Ravens for the sole reason on their kicker, Justin Tucker representing UT and maybe a little for Ray Lewis!! Beyonce stole the show and apparently shutdown the stadium. Hoping for a Texans super bowl next year.
Hope everyone has a great week. I hope to get more blogging in this week.

Getting married is stressful and time consuming! I don't miss those days lol For favors I made seaglass candy! We had a tropical themed beach wedding and I thought it fit well. Depending on your theme homemade salt scrubs would be a great favor idea! and it's super easy and mostly cheap to make large amounts. Good luck!
Here in KY, we love our bourbon, and T and I, just happened to find a coffee made by our favorite distiller, Woodford Reserve. So I ordered a crap ton of coffee, and got little plastic bags, and gave coffee as our favors. The box it was in said our names, then the date, and it's theme was "the perfect blend". Kinda different, easy, and very affordable. Not to mention, we got tons of feedback on it, because that coffee is freaking out of this world delish! Makers Mark also has their own coffee too!
We made a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of our guests as a favor!
